My best girlfriend is a dude and his name is DanaT.  I’ve known Dana for almost all of my life and my best friend turned the big 4-0 this weekend.  I must admit…I’m not too far behind but I ain’t there yet DAMMIT! Dana’s boo held a big Fortieth birthday bash for him and all of his friends and family converged on Patrick’s East Point Bungalow.  I don’t have a “boo” right now so I packed my good wine in a bag and went at it alone…

Dana was decked out in his tuxedo shirt and cummerbund and the invited guests were treated to a full bar. Mojito’s flowed freely and I think I may have had a few too many.  I almost started to believe that there was actually a straight man in the house!

Dana and Patrick were all happy and lovey dovey.  I’m soooo jealous! All those men in the room and not ONE of em was checkin for me.  My fabulous outfit…wasted! *sigh* Oh well…Maybe I’ll have a boo who’ll throw me a big birthday bash one day.

Sometimes it sux to be single…
