I got a package in the mail yesterday and I just had to chuckle when I opened it. The package, hand written with my name and address, contained a copy of my online crush’s current book. As I cracked opened the cover, I was even more tickled to find that he’d even personally signed the copy for me. Last week I’d read that Tariq Nasheed’s new book, The Art of Golddigging had been released. I immediately hit him up and jokingly asked why I hadn’t gotten my copy. Now days later here it is in my mailbox! *sigh* Tariq…Tariq…Tariq! I so love you!!!

Now…let me first say, that Tariq is the sweetest dude ever! It’s no secret how much I love him and what he does and when he once shouted me out on his radio show I blushed for days after I heard him say my name on the air. He constantly calls me “prissy” and while I have no clue how he came to that conclusion, it’s OK…I’ll be dat.

I’m totally infatuated by my friend’s confidence and swag. He and Shaq are running neck and neck for my heart. LOL! Funny thing is, Tariq’s persona is the epitome of all my past loves rolled into one. That “mack, pimp, player” thing seems to get me errr-time. This time I want something different. Not broke though….just different.

I think Tariq knows that I’ve been there…done that and I coulda wrote a book about it! But his book is hilarious. I’m sure there are a few women out there who will buy it and take notes. Either to bag them a baller or simply to get closer to him (cause he’s FIIIIINNNNEE!!!). I on the other hand, will read it and enjoy his whit, just as I do with his online radio show and soak up his “good game” over the airwaves. I’m staying far away from Tariq though…he is WAY to advanced for my “prissy” “A”zzzz! HaHa…

Thanks for the book Tariq. Maybe I’ll learn something new!
